Card Holder Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction:
    Destination Docklands Ltd (referred to as “we”, “us” and “our” in this Agreement) is a not for profit company established to promote Docklands businesses. “Docklander Deals” (the Program) is administered by us. Through the Program, we assist certain businesses that are based in the Docklands (participating businesses) to promote special offers to our member base, which is comprised of people who live or work in the Docklands.
  2. Offer and Statement of Eligibility:
    By signing the application form overleaf, you are offering to become a member of the Program on the terms set out in this document, and represent to us that:
    1. you have a current Docklands home or work address; and
    2. you are over 18 years of age.
  3. Refusal:
    We reserve the right to refuse your offer to join the Program if you are not over 18 years of age, or if you do not have a valid Docklands address.
  4. Fee:
    There is no fee for joining the Program.
  5. Creation of special offers.
    Special offers are created by the participating businesses, and are subject to change without notice. They are not redeemable for cash.
  6. Advertising:
    Special offers are published on the docklanderdeals.com web site, in electronic communications (including an email newsletter), and displayed on the premises of participating businesses. We rely upon the participating businesses to provide accurate information about their special offers, and do not independently verify that information.
  7. Claiming:
    In order to claim any special offer, you must present your membership card to the particular participating business. We accept no responsibility for the provision of special offers to you, and no liability for the failure of any participating business to honour any special offer.
  8. Privacy:
    Your personal information will be dealt with strictly in accordance with our privacy policy. In summary, we will not provide your personal information to any participating business or to any third party telemarketing, market research organisation, or email list building organisation that is likely to on-sell it to others. We will use your personal information to provide you with information about special offers and to conduct surveys and competitions.   9. Membership:
    We may terminate your membership upon written notice (including notice by email). Your membership is not transferable.
  10. Participating Businesses.
    We are independent of all participating businesses, and there is no agency relationship or joint venture between those participating businesses and us.
